Dot matrix is the border around most vehicles rear windows (and some vehicles side windows) that is actualy an enamel that is raised off of the glass.We at Rocky Mountain Windowtint use techniques not offered by other shops. Often over looked this is one of the details that can turn a good tint job into a excellent tint job.Large dotted areas at the top of some rear windows will require us to install a high performance black vinyl.This procedure guarantees the best look possible.Other methods,like sanding the enamel,will put fine scratches in the glass which will be noticeable.Another method to watch out for is the use of Elmers glue.This type of glue does not contain properties to withstand the abuse of UV light which eventually will crack or discolor.
